ecorec Hungária provides innovative waste
management solutions focusing primarily on energy recovery of waste. We are
proud to be a part of an international group „ecorec“ acting on the
waste management markets in 8 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. We provide
services and solutions
for different waste streams from various industries such as the oil and
automotive industries and municipalities. The
main recovery outlet guaranteed by us for most
kinds of waste streams is the utilization in other industries as an
ecologically beneficial substitution of traditional fuels or raw materials.
This type of waste recovery under strictly controlled conditions (from the
points of view of quality, environmental protection and health & safety)
has multiple benefits. It saves non-renewable natural resources
and contributes to solving waste management issues of the society by
extending capacities for waste recovery. Referring to the ongoing
developments in the legislation and its effects on the waste markets in
Europe the extension of capacities for all kinds of waste will be essential.
Therefore services of the ecorec group have already been demanded
internationally. Sharing know-how with other developed countries is a major
contribution of the ecorec group for the waste management development in Hungary. Our activities strictly follow
the internationally-accepted waste management hierarchy according to which
only the waste that cannot be recycled or recovered in any way is disposed
of. The potential for our group is also in other countries of Central and
Eastern Europe where ecorec is already active. The waste markets in this region have been changing
very rapidly in the last years. In 2004 Hungary, the Czech Republic and
Slovakia joined the European Union which has brought many positive
environmental measures. Further intended enlargement of the EU by other
countries of Eastern Europe forces authorities to challenge past practices in
the waste management. All these countries have been moving away from a
strategy relying heavily on land filling to more environment-friendly
solutions. ecorec intends to be actively involved in this process since our group
has already existing pre-treatment facilities in some countries and
international knowledge in waste management. |

Managing domestic and
industrial waste has traditionally consisted of collection followed by
disposal. Fortunately, it is now widely accepted that as a society we need to
move away from the landfill as the main solution toward more environmentally

Transport
of waste |

ecorec offers to you a logistic solution and takes over
the waste directly at the point were it is produced. The company ecorec Hungária can
organize the transports of hazardous wastes in accordance with currently
applicable legislation (ADR). If our customer requires to organize and secure transport
of the waste material by himself, he is obliged to ensure the following: ·

Marking
of transported hazardous waste with an identification sheet with EWC codes
and warning symbol according to relevant regulations on waste disposal ·
Marking

recovery and disposal. Provided the transport is secured by ecorec Hungária, the customer is obliged to
